As much as I love this site for its helpful finds... I'm bummed when others find what I've found!  ;-)  Let the bidding begin!  lol

I'm sure this will end up in the classifieds, but it's too nice a set not to mention.  Too bad I don't have the disposable income right now, or I'd have snagged it myself.

NO KIDDING ... I even have alerts setup with eBay for "Wood Grain" and "Box Set" just so I don't miss an opportunity like this ... I am becoming more & more disgusted with eBay with each passing day ... *sigh*

From the responses above I think the seller did himself (or herself) a disservice by listing with a BIN... even for that much.
I suspect an auction duration of 7 or 10 days would have insured that the final price was higher as many high end collectors would have been fighting over it.
I do not include myself in the high end collector group, but even so; I would have been willing (and able) to bid higher if needed.....

Lets hope it did not go to a reseller, Noble knight would probably list that for 8 or 9 k!!

I was thinking about it, truthfully. Not that I'm Noble Knight (lol) but I thought $4,000 would have been closer to where it should have gone. I have enough stuff to list as it is, so I passed.

If a seller lists a high end item with a BIN that is very low that is fine with me. I have no problem picking them up. A seller can invest a little time to do research, otherwise they just loose out. i imagine there are a few people who frequent this site that would try and contact the seller and state they would pay a higher price and try to buy the item out from under the legitimate buyer. :(

BTW: We missed this, didn't see it until it was already purchased.

Available now from Die Cast Games: Night of the Black Swords by Allen Hammack (Author of C2-The Ghost Tower of Inverness) with artwork by Jeff Easley and Diesel.

Likewise.  I have bought items with the express purpose of re-selling.  It doesn't happen often, but I don't mind it when it does.   8)

HUGE D&D and AD&D MODULE COLLECTION ...

packripper in Toys & Hobbies > Games| eBay

Granted that most seem to be priced on the high end ... or higher, but there are multiple copies of most modules and some accessories.

Go into the Sold Items listing and see what has actually sold. I'm kind of shocked as to some of the higher prices they are commanding. Makes me want to rethink my trying to sell a bunch of mods for a low price per module.  :?

$50 for the PC sheets? Kind of a shocker.
