Looks like the 3rd print I sold very recently was flipped for a high BIN as well.

That may be increasingly the way these rare items will be sold. Less like a secondhand/ebay auction and more like the vintage book market (he says speculating...)

The one I posted above wasn't flipped, though. It was sold, then relisted and resold on the same day.

Amazing how brown boxes used to come along at about 1 every 3 months or so, and in the last year there have been dozens.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Does anyone have any insight as to what this item is? Seems like a compilation of material and not a "proof or concept" or something like that for the Conan line with TSR.

It d be one of the books present in the Conan boxed set. This is my conclusion if you look at the other pics... You re right with your doubt as i feel strange the format of the first pic.

I know the booklet you're talking about. It does look "out of place" from the usual TSR fare, so I did not recognize it.
That's one less item to have on my Watch List ;-)

Yeah... definitely above my pay grade. I had a pad way back as well. When I got into desktop publishing as a job (art for textbooks mostly at the time), I was using the sheets as a template to make my own character sheets in Adobe Illustrator '88 on the then new Macintosh II computers. Might still have a copy on an old 3.5" floppy somewhere. Wether it still works, or my Mac IIci for that matter, is another question.

Lost Tales of Myth Drannor

Started at $150.00 and is now at $356.00 with 7 hours to go. It seems that two (less than 10 FB score) "titans" are going at it. I tried to get one of these before, but had bad experience as the circumstances of the auction did not "feel" right (long story). I will not bid on these if I see low feedback score people bidding on them for this same reason ... irrational bidding :roll:
