The design of the d4 is actually pretty clever - looks like whichever number is oriented correctly is the roll (or it could be whichever face is down).

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

Another ToEE from same seller as above. BIN is a bit more inline with being "reasomably" priced for a SW copy. B1-9 still continues to make me sad though.

Earlier print this time, but not a first print though. Surely a print after 1988, as the shrink does not have the caracteristic horizontal seam on back cover.

And already bought... by a well known fellow Acaeum member.

It seems there is a struggle on the items sold by our fellow Acaeum member nmilty (see classifieds) between two hard bidders on sealed copies, who bought each one a T1-4 copy mentioned above. I wonder what will be the ending price on the I3-5. I've not seen many of them in shrink on Ebay. Condition is not perfect however. I wonder if I will bid or not... as it is already high and condition is not top.

I agree with you on B1-9, far too high. In fact, this module regularly comes in sealed new condition on Ebay, a reasonable price should not be over $150-$175, even a bit lower. I would also have been interested to get a copy in this condition, but not at such price.

I've got a call into the MET and have an injection molding company ready to make a mold from the various images of the artifact ... just kidding

On the other hand, why couldn't we do something like that?? Does anyone have any contacts with the MET?

Maybe it was used to determine which frat the ancients were going to pledge, but I'd like to think it was used to roll for hit points for warrior and sphinx classes.

That D20 is awesome. I looked to see if I could find any other examples of egyptian or greek dice. I did, but the condition of this one is hard to beat.

three thoughts after seeing that awesome d20:
1) i too would love to bid on that
2) even though it's 2000 years old, it still would take less time than a zocchihedron to stop rolling
3) roll a 1-plague o' locusts
   roll a 2-plague o' toads
   roll a 3-sandstorm covers city
   roll a 4-Nile flows backwards
   roll a 5-beset by Minions of Set
   roll a 20-Ra says Ankh you very much

Shrink is not a condition
