It's almost certain now with eBay's message bot that they will get charged Final Value Fees anyway, plus a chance of both accounts getting restricted or suspended. A Seller that had a Customer send their Zip Code to get an adjusted shipping quote was just hit with FVF and a 3 day restriction when the Buyer backed out of the sale.

Yes, but you can work around that usually by simply breaking the email address into component parts, then putting text around it that's easy to see around/ignore

The Acaeum Domesday Book page doesn't have any information about second printings.  Should there be some type of information regarding second printings?

I don't know but obviously Frank is on here and the seller just posted it in the Classified Section. Somebody should be able to chime in on that.

The Domesday second printings that I have are the only ones that I am aware of.  I have numbers 5 ,6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12.  5, 6, and 7 will go up for auction next week.

An opinion I agree with Stratochamp. Pay a $1000 for a photocopy, even a vintage one. Yeah, personally I'd have a big problem with that.

Thank you for the comments.  I am okay describing these Domesdays however people feel most comfortable. I am not trying to be deceptive in any way in this auction.  I have only described these as Domesday Second Printings because that is how Frank has described them in his Certification of Authenticity. I understand how that can be misleading.  In my Facebook listings, I clearly urge all bidders to read the Certification of Authenticity.  This is the description in the Facebook listing:  "DESCRIPTION: This is a Domesday Book Second Print purchased from Frank Mentzer in 2014. Please read the description provided in the photo of the Certification of Authenticity. This auction is for the Domesday Book and Certification of Authenticity."  I stand behind my auctions 100%.  If anyone is not satisfied at anytime during the auction process or anytime thereafter, I will refund their money immediately no questions asked.  In any event, I will update the listings to read Vintage photocopies instead of Second Printings to avoid any confusion and reset the bids.

Scott, the disappointment was directed at myself and not you. Though rereading what I wrote it probably could have been taken either way.

I definitely agree that you were merely relating what was written on the Cert and I remember now reading that before somewhere, that photocopies were made for newer members that wanted them. It really is all period and correct, I'd trust Frank on this certainly.

Agree also with Stratochamp that with this, it should be pointed out to read the Cert and understand exactly what these are (Which I didn't do before I posted here, obviously). So, not condemning you - you've more than shown your honesty about this.
