Yep, considering that when Troll & Toad bought the Fonarow collection, they only paid $7.50 an item and it seems to have included Wee Warriors items and other much rarer wargames, etc.

This seems pretty consistent with the small pictures that you can't really see and the 1 line description for the auction with a $2500 BIN.

That Box looks familiar for some reason.

Both the name inked at the top right of the box top, and the size of the pictures.

Yes this is a nod to a Knights of the Dinner Table comic strip where the party ran from a Gazebo

They didn't run from the gazebo . . . they fireballed the gazebo, reducing it to smoking ruins.  Hooray for the invincible trio!

For a BIN of $75, I would hope it does come with the gazebo.  The auction does state "ACTUAL ITEM SHOWN".   I wonder what the seller would say if you used the BIN and said keep the D&D box, its only worth $10, I just want the gazebo?

Hi,

the original gazebo story is actually an old UK tournament tale (which I can recount if requested).

Don't think its apocryphal, as I heard it early-mid 90s ish.

Cheers,
Malc

I have a plan so cunning, you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.

[quote="Gus Landt"]No way is this worth $7500. This line alone should send all of us running:
"A good portion of the modules have the staples removed."
quote]

According to the seller, the staples were removed to prevent page rust. Uhhhh........okkk........how about just sealing up the mods in bags and not storing them underwater?

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

The seller is not willing to break up the collection yet either.  I made a good offer on a couple of pieces and was rejected.
