Seems like yours should go quick too. I wonder if a certain number of returns flags ebay's system/personnel more quickly and then after that point, the process is very fast and they immediately go after the seller instead of dragging the process along.

does anyone know who bought the 13 buckles and/or was the possible overseas French buyer?

Pix? By 1982 TSR had over 250 employees, and I knew few of them, since I was imprisoned in the RPGA/GenCon offices in the old hotel. ;>

I decided to check ebay on Michael Prestons closed account and now it is has been replaced with an apparent random alpha numeric sequence

I forgot to check this thread for a while... I wonder if ebay changes the account name to a random thing and does that now to free up account names?

Definitely the same guy/people. Same way of making each sale private, etc. I wonder how many more ebay accounts that guy has?

Someone using the name "Joe Pendleton" is selling a brand-new version of a belt buckle I helped design and create in 1981.

It's still marked "TM" (though it's not his tradmark) and "Made by Bergamot Brass, Delavan WI" (though it is not).

This looks like outright theft. Somebody report him to Etsy.
Avoid the thieves in the marketplace.

Well, it either sold or Etsy told him to pull it down. It's marked as sold on Etsy.
