Agreed - NTRPG Con is a very special con. Kudos to Doug and Mike!  I really enjoyed meeting some of the Acaeum - and throwing dice with Jeff Grub, Steve Perrin, Matt Finch and Taco Jon!  (My two games went well too, and I received good feedback). Hope to make it next year!

And here is another photo I failed to include.  These are just some of the Acaeumites who attended this year's NTX.

Front row, l to r is grodog, tacojohn, and Mizzle.  Back row, l to r, is benjoshua, Nogrod, cdenham, smarmy1, kingofpain89, Badmike and Blackmoor.  A fine looking crew if I say so myself.   :?

I also had a great Con and was very pleased to meet so many Acaeumites (the pins were a great idea to help identify us to each other!).

My Con started terribly, after my pre-Con (Wednesday night with Tim Kask) game I returned home to a work emergency which had me up all night. So Thursday was a bit tough as I had literally zero sleep Wednesday night. Hard to start behind the 8-ball like that since I knew I'd be gaming long hours all during the Con, but I survived and the Con itself was amazing.

Some highlights for me:

Playing adventures with their authors, such as
-our own throwi (loved the module, will definitely be buying more of his in the future)
-Lloyd Metcalf
-Chris Clark
-bbarsh in his Saturday night game, which is becoming a tradition for me
-and of course Tracy Hickman himself, who covered for Bracton and ran Eye of the Dragon for us

Also got a chance to play in a grodog game finally (he ran Tsojcanth), have talked to him several times but finally got to play a game with him.

As many have said though the best part of NTRPG is the people you meet, I had a chance to talk to Hickman, Weis, Elmore, Frank, etc. plus meeting or visiting with forum members benjoshua, bbarsh, grodog, throwi, Blackmoor, smarmy1, cdenham, and some others I'm probably forgetting.

Thanks to Doug and Mike for putting on another great event!

Walter,

You didn't seem to be that tired.  Way to hang in there!

Loved having you at the table.  You and Craig did well, and you embraced the Destructionist superbly, excellently demonstrating his powers!  :-)

Thanks for joining and playing!

The RPG Marketplace returns!  Included with offerings from year's past, we have two new digests from this year's con: Michael Curtis' The Great Stonehell Lazer Massacre (with cover by Erol Otus) and Chris Clark's Oubliette.  Only the copies there will be available, no reprints after this.  All money goes to help out the con.

It was taken after you left, about 6:30 PM on Sunday.   :?

I stopped by on Friday afternoon to do some shopping.  There was a booth in the back right corner of the hall that had a large selection of 1E and 2E AD&D stuff.  I didn't have as much time as I wanted to look around and wasn't able to make it back.  Does anyone know if this person has a physical or online store?  Are they a member here?

Thanks,
Brian

Maybe this will be better?

eBay listings

Something up with The Acaeum processing the links.  They work until converted.

The seller's ID is packripper.

Nope.  Pulls up eBay, but says that the user ID is invalid.

ScketreWhisp updated his prior post with a link that will work, minus the spaces.

Problem with the code -- eBay changed the format of their store links.  I've added it to the to-do list.

I attended NTRPG Con this year and thought there was supposed to be a secret special guest (or two?). Did I miss this while I was there? Who was it?

Also - has anyone seen any large sets of pics taken there uploaded anywhere? I saw the ones Chainsaw posted in a few forums, but was seeing if anyone else took pics that I could look at.

Thanks :chef:
