Probably means priority mail goes up a buck and priority international goes up $20.  I'll see what I can find.

Yikes! I hope not. :D   As is well known, over here we like our beer warm (and frothy, and yeasty, and farty...)

edit: this is one of my locals, it would not withstand a polar blast...

If you are a fan of stop motion animation, this is a fun one:

This stop-motion horror film was crafted by one animator over 4 years

But Pub's are invulnerable. I've seen the movies! They can survive a zombie outbreak, an evil cult and an alien invasion (until they detonate the mothership). Now Pegg & Frost need to do one about a Polar Vortex.

Which company is doing flatrate now? Fed-Ex?

Interesting and not quite what I expected.  A very creative piece to be sure.  Thanks for sharing this.   8)

Interesting factoid:  yesterday was 70 days before GaryCon.  70 days after the first day of GaryCon is the first day of NTRPGCon.  And 70 days after the first day of NTRPGCon is the first day of Gen Con.  There's got to be some celestial mechanism at work there.

And the 49s, don't forget, still don't forgive them for "The Catch".  Should be a fun Superbowl, pulling for the Seahawks so their long-suffering fans can finally get some relief...

BTW this is for Stratochamp and anyone else interested:  With his loss yesterday, Bill Bellicheck is perhaps ending an amazing run as head coach.  Where does he fit on this list of the all-time greats?

1. Vince Lombardi
2. Don Shula
3. Paul Brown
4. Bill Walsh
5. Tom Landry
6. Chuck Noll
7. George Halas
8. John Madden
9. Joe Gibbs
10.  Who is it?  Curly Lambeau? Bill Parcells? or Bellicheck?

Interesting, no Parcells?  And I rank Landry higher...20 winning seasons (may never be broken, the Pats have another 8 seasons to go to even tie it) and 9 NFC championship games in 12 years is pretty ridiculous...some of these in the non-Wild Card or one-team only Wild Card era. But there is no real problems here. All 11 of these guys have their bullet points IMO.  I'll be interested in seeing what Belichick does post-Brady to sew up his legacy...

I know Strat will disagree but I'm not much of a pre-superbowl guy in terms of comparing championships won then to championships won in the last 50 years.  Thus I rank guys like Halas, Brown and Lambeau a bit lower (still great coaches with great innovations, but I feel their accomplishments are not as great as guys like Shula, Landry and even Belichek who set records against tougher competition and less of a chance to advance to a championship every year). Some of those "championship" games were ludicrous (the 1932 game won 9-0 by Chicago on a 80 yard field that was non-regulation with the ball being placed at the 20 yard line when the teams advanced past midfield) and with only 8-10 teams in the league, usually the Bears or Packers got a cheap championship every other year or so. Sometimes teams (usually because of weather) played more or less games than other teams.  Little or no forward pass. Sort of like how basketball was a ridiculous sport until the black man started playing...They should invalidate all NFL championships before 1936, when teams finally started all playing the same amount of games each year, and the game started resembling ever so slightly the game we play now...! (now waiting for Strat to throw a football at my head....)

I just really liked the juxtaposition of these listings on eBay. I'm sure others will find humor in the subtly ;-)

There were three to four inches of snow outside this morning.  I was able to take a picture which should be perfect for this year's Christmas card.  And for some strange reason, I just want to sing my favorite Christmas song....to the tune of Walking in a Winter Wonderland....

"Lacey things, the wife is missing.
Didn't ask, for her permission
I'm wearing her clothes,
her silk panty hose.
Walking around in women's underwear.

In the store, there's a teddy.
With little straps, like spaghetti.
It holds me so tight,
like handcuffs at night.
Walking around in women's underwear

In the office there's a guy named Melvin.
He pretends that I am Murphy Brown.
He'll say "Are you ready?"
I'll say, "Woah man! Lets wait until the wife is out of town."
Later on, if you wanna,
We can dress, like Madonna.
Put on some eye shade, and join the parade.
Walking around in women's underwear.

Lacey things, missing.
Didn't ask, permission.
Wearing her clothes, silk panty hose.
Walking around in women's underwear.
Walking around in women's underwear.
Walking around in women's underwear......"
