Hello,

Not sure who here saw this gem listed on eBay, but I saw the question asked and took a shot ... alas, no such luck.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

It appears to be a hybrid First / Second Alpha based upon the MM pages and the "D" of "Advanced" running off the edge.

If the person who won is a member here, please let us know more details about this anomaly once you receive it.

I would love to see photos to prove MM pages in this DM Guide. Overall, I am pretty skeptical about this. If it was a 2nd Print Alpha DM I think it would be worth $1,000+ pretty easily.

We were the winners. The book was only a 1st print which was sent back for a full refund. I assume he looked in the monster manual when he answered Grodog's question. :cry:

That's a bummer. I'm always very explicit about which book I'm asking Qs about, with page # references, etc., but I guess they were confused :/
