Judging by the back cover and pics and such, this looks like a very well produced "bootleg" or "unofficial" AD&D product. The humorous $0.00 price tag and the nod to gaming aficionados on the back cover description almost make this a one of a kind oddball. As to what's in it, who knows. However, this is one of the best looking bootlegs (for lack of a better term) that I have seen. Good luck to the winner I guess.

Edit, plus they have the England address wrong... It is 120 Church END, not Endm, ....

compilation of Dragon magazine and Strategic Review articles and other stuff.

bottom part of the cover "This compelling compilation of articles and rules culled from the pages of The DRAGON and The Strategic Review is suitable for players and Dungeon Masters, ages 10 and up"

I'm sure they just snagged some Jeff Easley art off of one his collector cards or the internet and used that as the cover.

looks like print on demand from some pdf. Quality doesn't look very good

edit: seller states "Very Rare; Collection of Player/Dungeon Master Options for the greatest fantasy game. "

additional info: I thought it sort of looked like Raistlin. I think it's from a Dragonlance calendar from 1987.

I feel sorry for anyone that bids on that thing. I hope the buyer gets his money back!

Through the exercise of a bit of Google-fu, it appears that it used to be for sale on Lulu for $15. I'm sure it got pulled after a nice letter from the WOTC legal department.

btw if anyone here recognizes a bidder on this, I would reach out to them and tell them to bail on this auction. Or hopefully they are familiar with how to return the item through ebay if they win.. This is beyond stupid at $182 for a POD

I think you have to log in to ebay uk in order to see it, and even then there's something about your US account/default address which may not show the listing because it was only offered to ship within the UK. (for example, if you click on the "uk only" or "european union" , etc on the left hand side under item location

on the new ebay listing

At least the exchange rate is okay at the moment for our American friends

As for integrity of the seller etc - I'm not so sure he's done anything that the majority of others would have done in the same situation. This "holy trail" is just so much nonsense to the majority of the world, and most people would never have done any research on what they thought was a pretty straight forward item. Was someone right to have given the seller a heads up? Depends on their motives, it doesn't look like someone has just said I'll give you £100 for it, but it does look like some real information has been given along with a "reasonable" BIN price.
All conjecture on my part, but I reckon I'd be willing to take a neg and a bit if internet flak if it meant selling an item for over $3500 more

You can never have too much of something you didn't need in the first place.
