I think many of have more respect for your stance as an ideology than as a practice.  More power to ya, though.  I will certainly tilt one back tonight in celebration of your freedom and contemplate securing a bit more of my own!

Looks like a pretty nice 1st PHB. Not flawless, but nice. Wonder if it will sell at this price.

I contacted the seller and pointed them to Acaeum, so hopefully they will get in touch, as they sounded as if they needed some guidance.

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

Not at that price, but at three times that price!  Two bidders at $300 and it didn't meet the Acaeum definition of a "True First."  The seller had a good day.

My weak ass bid for this 3rd print woody was beat down pretty early.  I suspect that bidding may be the closest I ever ever get to one, but it was fun to bid (and dream).

Yeah, just had the inclination to look in, and was instantly  8O .

And I do despise the term 'True First". It makes it sound as if the rest were fakes somehow. Thinking it over, "Proof Print" may be more appropriate. I wonder if the MM and DMG went through the same process.

Yes, Stephen?  As far as I can see, it's a nice set of 3rd and 4th booklets.  Am I missing something? :D

Yeah, I was one of the losing bidders on the PHB,  I can't find any decent condition 1st printing and tried to get this one but bidding got too high for me.  I also don't care about true first or first or other terminology.  I just want to get a nice copy of the book period.

It looks to me like there are some bits and pieces if you want to build a frankenset or two, but no *complete* sets.
There is a third printing M&M and U&WA, a fourth printing M&M and U&WA, but the M&T is either a fifth or sixth printing.

Only ships to Europe (except Italy). That'll keep the price low.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.
