Nah, that will never happen.

When I was growing up, I fed myself on a healthy (or unhealthy, depending on perspective) diet of dystopian future movies, books, games, etc and kind of marvel at the world of today compared to what was predicted the future would be as thought of however many years ago. I guess the last couple of weeks I've been overly reflective since my 50th year is coming up. Maybe we are entering a future of more Totalitarianism and Fear, but it isn't for the suppression of information. The opposite really, there is so much out there now it's hard to know what to believe.

Congratulations to the Burntwire Brothers! They just sold 21 shrink TSR modules & accessories for $4200. I was looking at the D3 module that sold for $460. They could have just said "SHRINK" and sold it, but that's not how they operate. They correctly labelled it as Fine/VF in original shrink. So kudos to them for doing a great job of grading their items properly. Their grading is just right about 95% of the time (in my opinion) which is higher than any other seller I deal with. Your reputation precedes you and helps you get your great returns.

Just heard Ursula K. Leguin passed away. I devoured those Earthsea books as a kid. What a great writer.

I have always liked to imagine that authors like her are free to roam and play in the worlds they've created in the afterlife. I especially hope that's true for her. (If she wants it to be.)

It's a pretty neat-looking world - I have an artbook called Once Upon a Time (1976) that includes a large reproduction of the Earthsea covers (intricate cities on islands).
