Yeh, but you have Hines Ward questioning why his QB didn't play after suffering a concussion....because he "looked fine".  I think they have their share of knuckleheads, but the difference between them and, say, Dallas, is that the coach is firmly in charge, and no doubt Hines was sat down soon after his remark and read the riot act.

I think Cowher was perhaps the perfect example of a coach who combined both authority with the "one of the guys' approach.  And I think his model has influenced their organization quite a bit.  In contrast, I'm still not sure Wade Phillips doesn't have to call up Jerry on the intercom to ask for permission to take a whiz while he's at Valley Ranch.

BTW I'd love to see Wade win a SB just on the off chance he'd tell JJ to stuff his contract extension and move on. See how great this team would be with "wonderkid" Jason Garrett coaching the thing....

I miss the days of Dave Krieg, Curt Warner, and Steve Largent.  Watching the Seahawks back then was enjoyable, exciting, and sometimes frustrating.  I was always rooting for them to do well but they never could quite make it over the hump back then.  Probably something to do with all those interceptions Krieg threw.
