To Mike and all else involved,

thanks for all your hard work, mine arrived very safe and truly stunning, just need to spend as much again on framing... Was previously unsure what I was going to do, but now I've seen it I can only echo what everyone else has said, it must be shown off!

I too got stung by customs, but by much less than Ian, customs charged me VAT on the postage rather than the stated value of the print! :roll:

[OT] As if they know their rules since they're actually meant to charge VAT on /both/, of course (and even on the import duties, if there are any).
It's the £8 handling fee that's the killer nowadays, though...

I am late in posting, but mine arrived and it looks great. I showed it off to my wife and kids. Kids loved it. Wife...not so much...In fact, her reaction was along the lines of "WTF" Note she did not say it, but the look in her eyes was clear!

Later she laughed at me, suggesting my youthful geek is alive and well.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I didn't bother showing the piece to Heather since she has a dim view of most gaming, SF, fantasy, etc. artwork. I didn't think to try Ethan and Henry though: perhaps they'll run into a group of PCs who were recently in the dungeons (at NTX...), when they're next in the Green Dragon Inn

Yeah, my wife was less than enthusiastic, but she knew how much time and effort I had put into the project, so she was nice about it. It is framed and in my man-cave, so she's not too worried about how it looks in the house.

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.

My wife let me put all my gaming books and vintage video games (in original boxes of course!) in the living room... She's actually cool with me using "our" money to have a set of Greyhawk maps wet-mounted and hung up there too... and she's not a gamer.

Pretty sure the Otus print will be in there too.

No man-cave needed here.

Oh and she's cool with me showing off the Scotch whisky collection in the Kitchen too...

My print arrived today. The colors are amazing.

When are we going to start the ball rolling on the next commissioned art? How about a full commissioned module to go with it?
