Whelan has done some good Elric work.

I think no one beat Rodney Matthews for Moorcock's characters.

I enjoy P. Craig Russell's interpretations of Elric. He presents him as sickly and thin, not the muscled and sculpted version many other fantasy artists portray him as...against the entire spirit of the novels.

I would be willing to bet this sellers listings have shown up on this thread before.

But even if so, this seller deserves a second posting.

Has no one told this guy he is never going to sell those items he has listed for a starting price of $185?

For instance: seller has all three OD&D Box Set books, except they are split into THREE seperate listings for a starting price of $185 EACH BOOK, and they are 5th or 6th prints too!

Same thing for each of the first 4 supplements... $185 EACH and NONE are 1st prints.

And I am sure that Those books have been re-listed SEVERAL times too!

And same seller has a common as hell (opened) Dark Sun Box Set at $85 too. :roll:

Plus a copy of A1-4 Slavers book... YES it looks like it is in nice condition, but not mint for sure and it is also listed at $185!

Has no one told this guy he is never going to sell those items?

Small seller, so he can keep listing those for free forever. No, they won't sell, but it doesn't cost him anything either.

*I* think it's crazy too - when I list something, I want it to move.

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

That's the one that caught my eye, too, from Kynan's more recent sales.

Well, that and the faulty Infernax at $175, or $100 Saurians.

I'd been curious as to the listing costs vs. actual sales on his (notionally) fixed price items, but might not be doing all that badly - setting aside the time to take the pics, type up the listings, etc.

Sales trick with the squids DDG plus "ultra rare" $20 leatherette Moorcock volume seems to have worked nicely; $168 and $150 respectively.

$200 for a dished F115-R basic, $188 for a yellowed OCE and $100 for L3 all seem rather healthy prices, too.

Still not enough for a golden ticket, though.
