Sounds like my kids at Christmas! All they wanted to play with were the boxes. :roll:

Of course if you buy it and are just throwing that old, plastic box stuffing away, you can keep me in mind.

First time I ever saw one (other then the magazine ad's) was at Gen Con 19 in 1986. Wish I could find a functioning one in black.

That's a BIG premium for a not very interesting box.

Areas of interest/knowledge: Harn, WFRP, Ars Magica, anything BRP based such as CoC, Runequest, Pendragon and all their related games

I think you are getting more for your money with that box than the premium people pay for a thin layer of flimsy plastic.....

I get more for my money by spending it on content, not packaging.

I'm still floored by this. Collectors have kicked it into high gear lately ... but spending this much money on a 2nd or 3rd print Wood set is not only forcing me to re-evaluate the value of a dollar, but also contemplate changing careers (because *clearly* I need more disposable income to compete, haha
