The item is strangely still available on Nobleknight website,
nobleknight.com/productdetailsearch.asp ... 2147864067
for the same price as the ending bid, $1425, in EX condition.

I have no idea if the price is fair or not. It does not seem crazy if I refer to the Acaeum prices on the rares page.
However, I wonder why the prices mentioned at the bottom of this page http://www.acaeum.com/ddindexes/miscpages/art.html are so low ?
Does it explain the 999% increase, probably based on a very few transactions?
It is far too much money for me to spend, however I would be interested to have an idea about a "good" price for this item.

The auction history on that page is pretty out of date. The last several Artists of TSR (one private sale, maybe three on eBay) went in the $1300 to $1500 range. So I would have to say that this was a "fair" price. Notwithstanding the recent sales, they do seem to be quite rare.

I certainly wish I had picked one up at the prices back in 2003. While I'd like a copy, I'm just not willing to pay this much.

Nothing rare, but all 150 issues in 1 listing (that doesnt have a $1500 BIN). It should attract at least the opening bid. My guess is it ends at $300 or so + shipping. Missing inserts is bleh though (missed the US only bidders - maybe not).

What's this? Interesting? There are enough words in the listing to make me pause (like "recent printout") but I don't know enough to know better.

Not sure what "one wear" means, but this looks fresh. About $30 overpriced on the BIN, but these in really good shape seem to get snapped up or bid high lately. Suprised its still sitting there.
