Believe me or not, but I have long believed that the title of the FRC2 module was "Curse of the Azure Blondes".

Perhaps not, but one helluva redhead. [Homer Simpson drool...]

I've got a feeling this one has a long way to do still.

I would have said $4k to $5k, but with prices the way they have been recently, you just never know.

I can't decide whether I should invest in that particular copy or the original draft of the Declaration of Independence ...  Choices ;-)!

Responding to Melnibonean's post in the Classifieds forum --

Chainmail Sale on EBay

I hope the people knew that the Chainmail that just sold on EBay for $1,614 was a 2nd Edition.  That bright yellowish cover is hard to miss.  Looked pretty nice but definitely seems a bit high for the second edition.  I am typing from my phone so I don't think the listing will copy over correctly.

Chainmail

$1,614.00   * sold *   (14 bids)
ended     Today  12:04pm MDT
Seller:  milsur

Here's the link to the listing:

Chainmail rules for medieval miniatures by Gary Gygax  guidon games

That's a first edition.  There is no "2nd Edition" on the cover, and you can see from the pictures of the text that the font is the old style typewriter-type font of the first edition, not the much smaller font of the second edition.  The pagination also matches my first edition, not the second edition.

You are indeed correct Bracton.  My bad.  This was a good pickup.  I completely passed over this auction when the photo showed such a bright front cover.

This is being sold as autographed by Gary Gygax. The seller doesn't have any recent feedback and the last 5 or so were all negative. Just an FYI for anyone considering this.

Thank you red_bus for posting this. As you can see it just passed $1000, so I'm very pleased with the sell. I expect the buyer is too, as the set is in good condition.
