Agree with you on a couple points here. Marvel RPG was an absolute piece of crap. The rule system was horrible, and the concept of actually playing Marvel characters was terrible. I can't think of an RPG where the players do not create their own characters that is any good. TSR gets a license to do a Marvel-based rpg and they come up with that garbage. I always found that somewhat insulting.

Actually I think Marvel superheroes was a great system. (I have also played Champions and Golden Heroes).  Overall I think Marvel Superheroes caaptured the superhero genre excellently.

And you didn't have to play a marvel heroe - you could generate your own.

If I ever run a supers game again Marvel Superheroes would probably be my system of choice.

Couldn't tell you if the prices are fair, but compared to Amazon, they appear to be!

I did not look at this seller's other items.

The 3.0 book he has up for sale is listed at about 3X its value.

Only go with Amazon prices if you know an item's value.  Sometimes, items will sit in Amazon for months and then a seller will post an item at its actual value..

When that sells, often a few other sellers also catch on and post items at real prices.
