If you use auction prices or blow it out bin's rather than retail prices from established retailers, sure. I seldom list that way, but you already know that.

Those who don't like the price and or marketing approach... can click right past the listing, eh? If it is sitting there unsold in a year.... it will have only cost me sixty cents. I have plenty of time /shrug.

Meanwhile anyone with patience can clearly save a ton of money if they are aggressive and lucky with a buy it now or auction.

Retail is a different business. What the customer wants, when they want it, delivered quickly and as described.

Why is this so expensive in the first place? Was it a GenCon promo item from a past year?

RPGA loyalty award for registered gm's. They are huge, rare, rune covered and cast spells.... but not everyone's cup of tea, I expect.
