Hi Bracton,

I had won another item from the seller earlier on and then saw the "Large D20 Crazy Symbols" listing. I honestly thought of offering $20 for it to end early and combine with the other item, but thought better of it and decided to "let it ride", hoping no one else came across it. Unfortunately, a few others did, so still got it at a good price, but definitely not a steal. I did clue the seller in on what the item was after the fact and he was just happy to know what it was. Items he is selling are from an "estate", so to speak, and even offered to send me the cardstock sheet if he finds it. Really nice guy and did a superb job packing everything together.

Thank you - Paul

The burntwire brothers just put up some d&d licensed items including two costumes and I was thinking:
1) about the saturday night live Johnny Human Torch skit
2) that I can't believe that the first words listed under the display area of the mask are "flame retarded" (as if that would help sales in 1982)

That's still a good price.  I've seen them go for a lot more.  Congrats!

Bio One. ending soon.

NB: This may be a copy.  I seem to recall that there were copies (i.e. not from 1975) floating about and one way of spotting these is the photocopied line from the staples. That is also I suspect here < looks closely >

Definitely a copy of unknown origin. I bought one from the same seller - he has listed multiple copies.

$35 was right at my limit for raising a stink. I kept it - the lizard logo does make me do silly stuff sometimes - but I wish I knew when I bought mine

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

Shoulda been: ".. from Pangreenia to Floratopolis, from mystical Treeonia of spectral Forests to Schruborial dimensions." - The Forests of Leng

I did the same, although mine has no photocopied staple marks...

Did anyone catch this Woody listing before it went "Bye Bye"?

** expired/removed eBay auction **

It looks as though the box itself was the best part of this deal  8O

Thank you - Paul

Seems to be a mixed guidon and TSR set

Early Tractics box sets are a mess.  This was pretty common for the early TSR sets.  The Guidon box sets were a mess also.  There were different releases of the books cobbled together all of the time.

I was the seller on this one and I researched this as best as I could and could not find that this one came with a Vol. one Guidon, but yes they all are mixed up. This appeared to be as accurate as I could get.

Same set of books that has been listed a few times.  He tried to pull the auction the first time but couldn't (probably because it was in the last 24 hours of the auction) so instead had a shill account win the auction.

The he tried to sell as 1st prints and got a buyer but it looks like the deal fell through (because they really aren't 1st prints).  He knew this from before but notice he still refuses to post pictures of the inside covers.
